Influenced by the sounds of Hamzaa, Norah Jones and The Greats of Motown, ‘Be You’ is a Pop/R&B track all about confidence and is a song that hopes to empower people and give people that instant confidence boost that we all need occasionally. ‘Be You’ is a relatable story many of us face around time moving too quickly, comparing ourselves to others and feeling like we’re not enough. Gemma understands that feeling all too well and wanted to create a song that lifts spirits and allows you to hold your head that little bit higher and enjoy where you are right now in life.

Brand new artist of 2021, Gemma Vango is very excited to finally be releasing her debut track ‘Be You’. At 27, Gemma took time out to really think about what she wanted to create musically and her vision for the future. Finding her voice, her newest single is a reflection of where Gemma is right now. The future is looking bright with ‘Be You’ being the first chapter in a book of releases across the end of 2021 and throughout 2022.
