Influenced by the sounds of Richard Marx, Harry Styles & Paolo Nutini. ‘When The Rain Falls Down’ is a floaty piano infused pop ballad, all about heartbreak and trying to come to terms with the break down of a relationship that you didn’t see ending. The lyrics are very conversational and almost like a written letter trying to understand what went wrong.

Following her debut release ‘Be You’ at the end of 2021 & second release ‘Home’ in March 2022, ‘WTRFD (When The Rain Falls Down)’ is the latest release from Gemma. After the success of her debut single which pulled in over a thousand monthly listeners, being RicherUnsigned’s ‘Artist of the Week’ and several local radio plays across 2021 & 2022 including an interview with Rob Jelly on the evening show at BBC Radio Essex, Gemma is hoping for much of the same and more with the release of ‘WTRFD (When the Rain Falls Down)’. After taking time out at 26 during 2020 to really think about her music vision and what she wanted to do creatively as an independent artist, now at 29 having found her voice, Gemma is excited to share new music.
